Do you rotate food for a cat who had a history of bladder stones? If so, could you tell me what brands and flavors are in your cats rotation?

My cat had a bladder stones more than 5 years ago. She was put on Hills S/D canned food to dissolve the stones in her bladder, then switched to Hills C/D canned food for preventing. She hasn’t flared up since.

She is now 9 years old. Recently she scratches around her eyes and ears. I took her to the vet and found out that she had ear infections. I assume that she has a food allergy.

I want to change her diet to some other urinary health foods, but I don’t want to completely change it from Hill’s C/D, so I think rotation would be a nice idea.

For the ear infection, I have to take my cat to the vet again this week, so I can ask my vet to write me a prescription for Urinary healthy diet, maybe IAMS[emoji]174[/emoji] VETERINARY FORMULA[emoji]8482[/emoji] URINARY-S LOW PH/S[emoji]8482[/emoji]/FELINE.

So if your cat had a history of bladder stones, and if you do rotate her food, please let me know how it works for her/his bladder, and what brands and flavors are in your cats rotation.
