Hi! New to forum but not new to cats. I have 2 domestic Tabbies Tigger ( female) 12 yrs old and Sam Adams (male ) 8 yrs old. I rescued these 2 when they were at least 2 yrs old. The reason I am joning is because in 6 weeks I am adopting a kitten who is 4weeks old now. Never had a kitten all my cats were older. Will have lots of questions. Love my cats

I'm fairly new as well. You must be excited about your new arrival. Have you got any pictures you could post up of your cats and the kitten you're adopting, would love to see some.

some things I wish I knew before I got my fur bundle at 9 weeks; 

kittens collect dust, no matter how well you clean they will find that dust bunny under an old piece of furniture you never  look at.

a 30" scratching post is not high enough, even for a 10 week old cat ( you might already have a cat tree though) but still prepare for pinholes in your legs.

toys will be bought, destroyed, hidden and abandoned all in the same second, and that speck of fluff that came off your jumper is way more interesting.

It's so rewarding though she's 15 weeks old now I've probably worried more about this little one than anything in my whole life. once you've woken up to a kitten butt on your forehead, and your top google search is "should my kitten.." you'll realise you're utterly besotted

Welcome! I'm pretty new but the site is growing on me. It's so exciting to have a new arrival on the way but can be challenging with older cats so if you need any help feel free to ask.
