SLUGS!!

I'm feeding 2 ferals. .. how can I stop slugs getting all over the food.... I don't want to kill the slugs!

Are you leaving dry food out for long periods of time?  Probably not a good idea because it is eventually going to attract more than slugs.

If the slugs are getting into the food pretty quickly, you can try raising the dishes or placing the dish inside a larger dish with a shallow bit of water in it.  This will also keep the ants away.

Thanks for the tip. Within an hr of putting the food out, the slugs are in the dish...! I just read somewhere that copper might help too... I will try the water dish idea... thank you [emoji]128049[/emoji]
