About a week ago, I've been feeding and getting to know a homeless cat who just happens to be pregnant and if you've read any of my last thread, you're probably facepalming but I'm remaining hopefull. I'M GOING TO GET HER SPAYED AND GIVE HER TO A GOOD FRIEND METHOD DON'T YOU WORRY. ;)

Anywho, I haven't felt movement or seen any but she's been getting bigger even within this past week. Also, the area behind/around her nipples is VERY swollen. She's not very big but her stomach is very tight and lumpy- a lot like my cat who was just pregnant.

I'm thinking she's going to pop within the next two weeks but I'd like some insightful opinions and such.

Heheh I'm thnking about naming her Pinchface (from The Deli Creeps).

I kept checking your other thread for an update, did your cat have kittens? Last I read you were taking her to the vets?

I found this cat outside (like I found Granola) and have  named her Pinchface. The rest of the info is in the post I made right above.

Also, yes, Granola gave birth but her kittens died so I took her to the vet and got her spayed. She's siitting on her butt like a little human and cleaning her belly right now actually. Haha

Oh no what a shame about Granolas kittens, were they stillborn? Was that why she was having such a hard time in her labour? You just vanished leaving us all waiting for an update!

About your other cat I'm sure there are some thread links somewhere that you can use to guess how far along in pregnancy due to various tell tale signs, I think movement starts being seen around 2 weeks before birth. Going to a vet would be the best way to find out for sure how far along she is, with her being a street cat a vet visit is I would say necessary to make sure she is fit and healthy and able to go through pregnancy and labour, would be heartbreaking if you had to gp through the same as last time

I'm sorry I was just so hurt from the kittens dying I didn't even want to talk about it at all. I also had to leave the area for a while to deal with some family.

I'd take her to the vet right now but I can only afford one visit to go get her fixed.

I've read through probbably every article ever written on this topic when Granola was pregnant (I''m a very anxious kitty-mid-wife) but I was wondering if it's normal to not feel or see movement from kittens even though the queen is very obviously pregnant and is contintuing to develop and move along in the process? I haven't let her inside yet but I will when I have an extra room in the house for Granola so I can keep them seperate in case Pinchface is sick with anything I may not know about... gonna check on that at the vet.

MOD NOTE Posts in this thread should be about Pinchface. Granola has a separate thread. Please keep them separate

This is about Pinchface, I was just reffering to when Granola was pregnant and how I researched extensively what to expect when your cat is expecting.

Also, quickly answering the question from before. :)

At the time of me asking about Granola the two threads had been merged so there was no seperate post to ask the question on...

I'm sorry..much confusion.

Also, sorry I haven't updated.. I've been swmped with practice. (my private teacher wants to teach me the Medora variation from La Corsaire :D)

I haven't seen Pinchface lately but I'm almost certain she's just off somewhere giving birth. Last time I saw her she was meowing like crazy and super jumpy- even at things that weren't there. Just all-around uncomfortable and restless.

Hopefully she has been taken in by someone and is busy looking after her new babies rather than out on the streets with them

Hi guys! I've been busy yesterday, sorry. Ye Pinchface has hadher kittens! There are two, Starscream and Rammallzee. I'll try to upload a pic either today or tomorrow! :D

Are there any suggestions for kmr I can give the babies once they start weaning and also for Pinchface for the extra boost while she's breastfeeding?

Pet Ag in the powder form is good.  Royal Canin is also good.  Avoid Hartz and Seargents brands.

Glad to hear the births went well.  Can't wait to see the pictures.
