Yes I am home with her thankfully. We aren't really seeing any action here at the moment. It is obvious that she is uncomfortable, but she is eating great. The moisture isn't much, it is drops, and only off and on. Could that be leaking pee?I talked to the vet tech. I described what happened last night and she said that sounded like pre-labor and can last a few days. They set up an appt for Friday if needed.

Forgot to add that her belly is tensing at times. When it does it feels very hard. Then it relaxes and is softer. One concern I have is that today there is construction next door. It isn't loud in here with the windows closed and ac on. But the unfamiliar sounds are irritating Indipoo.

If her belly is tensing and relaxing it's probably mild contractions.

Ok then that is good!

I was concerned she might be delaying things because of the noise next door.

Indipoo is doing great @Mageris! We visited the new vet today. Very nice people. The tightening I described a few days ago is pre-labor contractions. I told him about the babies have been dropped for a week or so and he said that is normal. Some cats drop a day in advance, some a week or more in advance. The kittens were very active during the exam. They were not in the birth canal yet, but are close to it. He said they will be here any time. He opted not to do another x-ray today because Indiopoo was so stressed out about being at the vet. If the kittens do not arrive by Wednesday, we have to take her back and they will decide if we induce or give her a few more days.

I told him how Indiopoo has taken up residence in one of my bathrooms. He said that she probably where she has chosen to have the babies. Since yesterday she has not wanted to come out of that bathroom. That isn't like her at all. She loves to sit in my kitchen in front of the sliding glass doors and watch the birds outside. So she is acting a bit different. That bathroom already had a litter box in it, but I went ahead and added food and water for her. She also pulled a towel out of the dirty clothes basket and proceeded to make a bed with it. I put it back, she did it again. So I took a clean towel out of the dryer and put it down for her and she loves sleeping there. Tried a cat bed and for some reason she suddenly wants nothing to do with the cat bed she loves. Major nesting here??

My foster kitty, who is also pregnant also had an exam. Foster kitty, who's name is Kenzi is due between 2 and 3 weeks from now. All is progressing normally for her.

She is seriously nesting, and has clearly chosen the bathroom as her "place". It would not surprise me if kittens are here before Monday.

Your vet sounds very competent with cats :).

Glad your foster is doing well too!

Good signs hteft! My dug in her litter box all night long leaving only one pee and one poop in there and I'm serious as soon as I talked to a fellow Navy wife who is a vet is when her personality changed. She went into labor the next morning but she had the stomach tightening and relaxing (nothing like hard contractions just barely noticeable for DAYS before she went into actual labor)

So far today she has been all about belly rubs. This is a cat who before would not let anyone touch her belly. She was just loving having her belly rubbed a bit ago.

Yes I agree that she has chosen the bathroom as her "place". She tries to get the other cats to come in the bathroom, not sure

if she is lining up babysitters or just being social. lol

jjbutterfly, that is what Indipoo's belly has been doing too. And Handsome Kitty, we do have another bathroom lol.

Question, Indipoo has been in and out of the bathroom and bit. My other cats keep sniffing the floor wherever she has sat down. They have never done that before.

I thought maybe she had discharge, but I don't really see any. She isn't licking either, in fact she can't reach to lick that low because her tummy is so big.

I was wondering are they sensing something I'm not? What is going on with that?

When my cat didn't have any noticeable discharge I noticed her getting up from sitting down and sniffing where she was sitting I don't have any other cats in the house so not too sure on the other cat thing.

She hasn't really been sniffing where she has been sitting. Just my other cats dong that. She nibbled kitten food almost non stop all day until late this afternoon, and now will not eat. Fingers crossed that tonight is the night!

Most of the time yes and sitting in the doorway of the bathroom. At times she has been back to her window for bird watching and then back into the bathroom.
