The vet may or may not be able to tell you how many heartbeats he hears or how many kittens he can feel. It would depend how crowded they are and their position.

If you do end up needing to supplement the syringe is much easier in the beginning, though if it continued the bottle eventually becomes easier.

Okay that is what i thought.
I talked it over with him but since she is his cat, he wants to wait until after she has them to take her then. I guess i understand because it may just cause her unnecessary stress and she seems fine until then. Right now, she's been very tired all day and hasn't moved from the nesting area. I think they may be here soon. Her milk has dropped fully and there are clear hairless circles around her nipples. She's very warm too but the a/c is on at 75 like always. She's eating and using the litterbox just fine still. Just think she might be hot from the box and possibly panting.

When the kittens are born they will need a warmer temp.  Perhaps you can close the vents in the room with her nest.

I will keep the air off when she has them until they can regulate their body temperature.

It's very hot here! I just saw that you're in Tampa. We're practically neighbors - I'm near Bradenton :).

How are your babies doing if i might ask? How many lovely felines do you have? I saw one of your cats was very preggers too in another thread from a few weeks ago.

Marble is 69 days into the first day she was outside and could've conceived. Still no babies but she is bigger and nesting all day pretty much for the last 2 days. Is this normal? Or should i take her to the vet soon? I still feel some movement but not as much. She's acting fine though, no distress. Just me probably being too anxious lol.

She probably is a couple of days less than 69 days along. She is not in distress and is exhibiting all the perfectly normal pre-labor signs.

I see no reason to see the vet at the moment. I suggest just waiting for her to go into labor in the next couple of days. There will be less visible movement as the babies begin to drop down in preparation for birthing.

Well, happy birthday, but your cat will have her babies on her schedule according to Mother Nature!

Let us know if she "gifts" you on your birthday :).

Still no babies. Ugh this wait is killing me :(

I didn't feel the kittens at all today. And she appears smaller now too. She's still eating and everything else is normal behavior. Still nesting alot. I'm trying not to worry and failing horribly. Should i be concerned at all? Especially about her somewhat being smaller and no movement?

Being smaller means that she has "dropped" - which is the babies moving down towards the birth canal in preparation for labor and delivery. It then becomes more difficult to see movement. So it sounds like she should be going into labor very soon. Everything sounds textbook perfect so far, though I know you are anxious and tired of waiting!

Have you seen any discharge or her vulva dilating?

She really don't let get a look at her but I've seen some clear or light colored stains in the box I've made for her. I set up a larger one with more sheets and a nice wool sweater to lay on though she keeps moving them out of the way. I felt them move late last night after i messaged you and all is well. She hasn't left the box at all today except alittle food And the bathroom. It's very unusual behavior for her because she's always all over me and my boyfriend even when she's not preggers and she's been quite distant today.maybe the labor is finally happening.i just worry it's been too long from that May 28-June 6th window. But hey maybe she's got two separate sires for her litter and that could be why. Or she has a larger litter than we think. Original guess was 2-3.

Discharge has been confirmed. She's also been doing some weird nesting behaviors like tearing up the blankets and pushing them nearly out of the box. I feel like kittens are imminent tonight :)
