Good morning!
And Happy Friday! I'm ready for the weekend.

What was your last purchase?

The last things I bought were some coloring books and a Cook's Country cookbook from Amazon.

A replacement remote control for the TV. The old one died after 11 years of service. Now we'll have to see how much longer the TV lasts

I bought 2 books for my Kindle; one a Thai crock pot cookbook titled "Thai Slow Cooker Cookbook" (duh!)  and the other a biography of Carly Simon/Joni Mitchell/Carole King called "Girls Like Us". Kind of an interweaving of their life stories making comparisons and contrasts to each.

I just got these so haven't tried any recipes yet but, it was cheap (I think it was a .99 cent book) and looked like I might potentially find something interesting to make from it.

I had a spending spree today :anon: A friend of mine's shop is going out of business. I went in before the sale to give a last bit of support. I got:-

A leather bag (for me)
A leather bag (for my aunt's birthday)
A fabric bag(Xmas present for a friend)
A fabric pouch
A selenite candle holder
8 packs of incense
3 scented candles
6 bottles of essential oils
Umm....I think that was all.

(Well..I did say it was a spending spree ;) )

...with the cats...
a package from entirely pets dot com, which contained:  two cat toothbrush sets (included cat toothbrush, finger toothbrush, and tube of toothpaste), two tubes of poultry flavored cat toothpaste (because i read many reviews where people said their cats much preferred the poultry flavored), a two-pack of cosequin for cats (for snick), a 30 count box of fortiflora packets (i figured those would be good to have on hand, just to use as a topper for wet food), and a 5 oz package of wild alaskan salmon freeze dried cat treats/cubes -- it's snick's birthday coming up soon, so a special treat for both cats.

:doh3: I've just realised that I put in a big cat food order to zooplus - literally 5 mins ago. I guess because it was online it didn't feel like 'real' shopping :lol3:

A tube of Ultra Brite toothpaste, some calcium plus D-3, a bottle of lutein. Yep, I went to Wal Mart.

Not really a purchase but I rented 5 textbooks from Amazon for DD's upcoming semester. SO much cheaper than the school bookstore.

Two jugs of cat litter, a watermelon, and a little pack with two chocolate cupcakes from the bakery at the supermarket.

Lunch! We went swimming today and the kids and I were famished by the time we left the pool. I took them to the Chick Fil-a drive thru for lunch.
