aaah i'm worried, i just put him in a carrier by himself with the heating pad, it does sound like FKS, he's been sitting away from his litter sometimes and hasn't gained any weight and isn't nursing very well :( what can i do? should i keep feeding him more frequently?

umm i don't really know! :( my other cats have been treated for fleas, & his littermates don't seem to have any problems.

Is he still pooping and peeing? Is his belly bloated or soft? Do you have any pedialyte? My first thought if he isn't cold is that he has low blood sugar.

If you can or you can make some.  I'll look for the recipe.  It takes mineral water and stuff.  BRB

Karo syrup or honey are also a quick way to boost blood sugar. If he hasn't been eating an adequate amount or hasn't been warm enough for digestion, his blood sugar will be low. It can cause trembling, seizures and coma/death. Do you have karo syrup or honey?

Yes, thats a good start.

I copied this from another thread.  If you use mineral water it will be more complete.

Regarding homemade, I had a vet once tell me that the home recipes were incomplete because they were lacking all the minerals (for example, potassium), but that it will be okay in an emergency.

I just did a search for recipes and a lot of sites give this formula, saying that it's from the World Health Organization.

* 1 cup water (boiled then cooled)

* 2 tsp sugar

* 1/8 tsp salt

* 1/8 tsp baking soda

Yes. If it's low blood sugar causing the problem, he should perk up fairly quickly.

Not necessarily.  He can't regulate his body temp so if there is no heat source he will get chilled.

It could be good or bad. Do you have a heating pad? He's still young enough that he requires a heat source to maintain his body temperature.

Smear the honey on his lips. He will lick it off. Use water, a sprinkle of salt and honey to make a homeade pedialyte. You can skip the baking soda. Syringe it into him. Give him 2mL if he will take it. See if this helps.

If you don't have a heating pad, it's very important to get one. You can place it under the box he is in turned on low and make sure it's only under half the box so he can move away if he's too warm. Without enough heat, his digestive system doesn't work so his body is starved of nutrition.

When did he eat his last full meal of formula and how much did he eat? When did he first begin to act this way? Is he having diarrhea or peeing or pooping?

I also want to know if your mama cat is still nursing her kittens. How old are they and how many kittens are there?
