This kitten was a stray I took in a few months ago, because she is adorable and the most affectionate cat I've ever known. She wants to be held and snuggling almost constantly, which I had never seen a cat do! I have loved her so much.

Unfortunately, when I brought home my newborn son this week, her behavior has gotten out of hand for me. She is obviously in need of someone who can give her the attention she needs, which I can't do now with my little boy requiring my every minute.

Someone please help, she truly is the most lovable little snugglebug, and I adore her- I can't stand for her to go to a shelter. But I can't take care of her anymore with the baby!

Do you have a family member who can take her for a little bit? What's wrong with her being too sweet? I don't quite understand.

Can you get a feliway diffuser to help with her anxiety? Can you just give her a little time to adjust?

This isn't difficult to understand- If I had an option for her, I would take it. but The amount of attention she needs is not something I can provide anymore, now that I have my infant son home. She needs, and deserves, to be with a home who has time to play with her, and show her much more affection than I am- or will be anywhere in the future- able to give to her. I was hoping to find genuine cat-lovers on this site, hopefully one who would be able to take her. I'm a single mother as it is, there just isn't enough time to care for her while I'm caring for my baby- it wasn't an easy decision to make, and it's going to be painful to see her go, but I have to do what is right, and in this case, it means finding her a truly forever-home with someone who has the time for her.

Let me also make clear that she actively tries to step on/lay on my so, places herself between us when I'm trying to nurse, and other little behaviors of jealousy are increasing. She's the sweetest thing, but I don't think she is suited for a home with a baby.

FYI please don' put pets for adoption free. This will prey on people who will most likely use her for snake food, dog fighters etc. Instead, provide an adoption fee. Is she spayed? Has all of her claws? Maybe she could use a buddy while you are nursing or go to you room and feed him?

J justiceburr it would help if you tell us where you're located. This is an international site with members all over the world, but it's possible there is someone near you who could help you find a home for your kitty.
