I told her, they are all doing very well. I am not a vet, but they all are doing well. I don't think I would take them all to a vet right now to be tested.
Of course I will when old enough.
She was on the page asking for a nursing Mom cat.
She messaged me and told me how she was unsure what to do.
I tried to point her in the right direction even after she was rude.

@KitKatKittygirl   I can see you're really upset.  You were willing to help and that is all you can do.  She is obviously overwrought and focusing on the wrong things right now.  Take a deep breath and let it go.  You can only do so much and taking your cat and kittens to a vet and exposing them to everything flying around in the vet's office is not an option.  Quite frankly you would be taking a risk taking her kitten in as well and if she contacts you again and wants testing, mention that.

Maybe call her and tell her if she changes her mind to let you know. That's about all you can do.

But I agree, Kit Kat seems healthy and the kittens are gaining weight and doing well.

Handsome Kitty has a point! The kitten could bring a disease to your cat and kittens! Maybe explain that to the woman.

You are both right.
I just got scared for the little one.
I think for now we will just keep our little family healthy and happy.
I am the type of person who wants to save everyone. I've even talked about fostering children, and I have 4 lol
Thank you both.
I am glad I found this site. :)

I'm stalking your post now. :-) it's uncanny. The vet we went to said the same thing. Said polka was probably diseased since her kittens died and she didn't need to nurse any other kittens. Then proceeded to tell me polka didn't know she lost kittens anyways so she wouldn't be sad. Now look how great our fur babies are doing. I love happy endings. I'm also relieved to have found someone who experienced the same thing at the same time I did.

I am enjoying reading both of your threads @KitKatKittygirl   and @sweetlynn86  .

It is obvious that the vet did not know much about how strong the maternal instincts of a cat really are. Some people seem to think that animals don't have feelings and to those I just think they are missing out on a beautiful experience.

I am too, I read your thread because it was all at the same time.
I know my kitty was upset, she cried all day and until those babies arrived.
She looked all over our house for them.
We don't have much, but we do our best for all of our kids fur included.
I honestly doubt there is anything wrong with our kitties.
I lost a child and I'm not sick. It just happens.

I know they do. If not, she wouldn't care for her adopted babies.
I think they feel much more than anyone could ever know for sure. ♡

Wonderful! Mama has lots of good milk and the babies are very good at drinking it! So glad Kit Kat is getting to be a mother. No wonder she was howling! She needed these babies and they needed her :).

I went to take pictures of them one by one.
She snatched the first one right out of my hand and put him back!
I was in shock and laughing. So I got the two chunky butts sleeping instead.
