I feed her 3 to 4 times a day.

I feed her Royal Canin or Fancy Feast for Kittens brand 3oz. So She is eating approx. 9 oz of wet food a day.

She still seems like she could eat more though.

How much should I feed her at each meal.

MANY THANKS! :)

Hi all!  This is my first post!

I was surprised by how much my kitten ate at this age, so I asked my vet about it.  According to her, you can not feed a kitten too much.  Think of it like a teenager; they are growing so fast they need a lot of nutrition.  Obviously don't force her; just let her eat as much wet food as she wants to.  She probably needs more than 9 ounces.

Until she hit about 10 months, my kitty ate about 2 - 5.5 ounce cans, or 11 ounces, every day, spread over 3 or 4 sittings, plus some dry at night.  We fed her mainly Wellness Core Kitten, alternating with a few others like Blue Wilderness Kitten, and she loved it until about 9 months, so we stared switching over to all life stages food a little early.

I'm glad to see you are feeding her wet food; it is so much healthier.  We have always used dry as a treat; she loves it, but wet is better.

She's just over 2 years old now, weighs about 8 pounds, and I still let her eat as much wet food (mostly Weruva) as she wants.  She gets some dry every day because she loves it, but we limit it.  We do not leave dry out for her to graze on.  She is very healthy, not fat at all, but very active.  Now she eats about 5-6 ounces of wet food plus a little dry everyday.

Hopefully this helps - I'm sure there are others here with lots of experience who will chime in!

Yes, as a growing kitten you should let her eat as much as she wants.   They have growth spurts and they'll be days when you can't believe how much they want to eat.
That's how I remember it when my 2 yr old 'Lokhi' was in his first yr.

Kittens should be fed more often than adult cats since their body need nutrients in order to grow.

4-5 times a day for kittens and 2 times a day for adult cats.
