My Suzy is about 8 yo.  Just this past winter they finally diagnosed the problem (!).  I have changed her food (Blue Buffalo canned) and litter (Arm & Hammer).  So far have had no luck putting anything extra in her food.  She'll turn her nose up and stubbornly refuse to eat it otherwise. She has improved considerably but still has little bumps scatter about her body and her mouth itches and chin bleeds a lot.

I have noticed that she will sleep in a certain spot for a while until it gets funky and then find somewhere else.  Even if I've washed it, she won't go back.  I am wondering if anyone has noticed issue around their ECG cat.  Does there appear to be a certain fabric or something that seems to work best?  Right now she sleeps on a leather folder by my desk.  I'm thinking of buying her a carpeted cat stand to put there, but don't want to invest if she's only gonna use it for a day or two then hate it.

Thanks

I'm sorry about your kitty's EGC.  I don't have any experience with it.  But I found this thread--it doesn't specifically address certain fabrics but there's lots of good info here:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/270206/eosinophillic-granuloma-help

Hopefully another member will come along with some experience and suggestions.
