It could be, usually means that the queen has lost the hair from nursing kittens. If she is pregnant now, I'm sure everything is perfectly normal, if in doubt call a vet, they should be able to answer your question over the phone. All the luck and give us pictures of the adorable newborns when they come!

Thanks for the reply di and bob im rather scared at the fact she could be pregnant as shes only 17 months old and escaped twice first time around the 10th and again on the 13th and instantly stopped calling within 24 hrs of escaping :( steve the cat in question is the off spring of a stray pregnant cat that adopted us late on in her pregnancy so didnt see or know the signs of the aftermath or even if steve has mated at all thanks again xx
