Hi! Finally a place where I can talk about my cat and people won't roll their eyes at me.
I'm fiiiiiinally getting a cat after 5 years of living with my ex-fiance/now roommate who is allergic to them. I had a cat for 7 years prior to moving in w/him and I had to find a home for her.
It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I still miss her to this day.
In October I decided to get a Sphynx. I found a breeder who was having not one, but TWO litters that month and I quickly fell in love with her. She's a really great person who loves her cats very, VERY much. All animals in general really. We're a lot alike. Well, her first litter was all white cats and I wanted a darker color, so I told her I'd wait for the next litter. The next litter was born and she had ONE mostly black, black & white kitten. It was the only boy in the litter and I wanted a boy. It was just meant to be.
(The color and gender wasn't that important at the time, and I would have chosen any one of the beautiful babies in that litter, but it just worked out where I got what my preference was.

So I've been waiting since early October and I finally get him in 8 days. I'm SOOOOOOOO excited!!!
So, I hope to be around a lot and get to know all of you.
