So I just took in a stray cat that we had been feeding for some time.  For a while we fed her friskies but now that we have her indoors full-time I want to feed her some of the better stuff.  I bought her a whole bunch of Blue cans but she doesn't seem interested.  Because I worried she wouldn't eat, I gave her a 9 lives can (we had it around from when my previous cat was sick and wouldn't eat at all).  She started eating that up.  Now, I don't want to start her on a diet of 9 lives because that's almost like living on a diet of Mcdonalds for a human!

Any suggestions on what I can do or something she may like that i can try?

She's about 4 years old if that helps.

There are lots to choose from.  I would go to your local Petco or Petsmart and start with any of the grain free wet choices.   Any kind she will eat will be good.

Nutro Natural Choice

Natures Variety Instinct

Merrick

Fancy Feast Classic (make sure its the cans labeled classic since those are the flavors that are grain free)

are all popular grain free wet foods around here.

Good luck and thank you for giving her a home

And, honestly, if she likes Friskies, it's better than 9 Lives, especially if it's Friskies Pate style.  Still fairly low in carbs, which is the real key.   Basically, feed her what she will eat.

Mine run the gamut from Nutro Natural Choice to Fancy Feast Classics to Weruva to Friskies.  I try to keep them from getting bored
