(Lost city of) Z, a city that British surveyor Percy Garrison Fawcett thought existed in the jungle of the Mato Grosso region of Brazil (based on a document by Joao da Silva Guimaraes, who wrote that he had visited the city in 1753). info from Wikipedia -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_City_of_Z
(It may look like I am a stickler for rules, but I promise I am not.I just noticed how we went from the letter J to "L". Of course, I was told that Luxembourg City, Luxembourg is a beautiful place, and I only found out this year, that it's in central europe. But I am going to throw in Kismet, Kansas, USA, just to cover the letter K.)
(But Yetiland and Lost city of Z....sound like great places. All I could think of for "X" was "X marks the spot on a treasure map"....so I think my brain has gone on to summer holidays, on its own.)
Atlantis....or Lost City of Atlantis. (As a kid, I thought it was a real island, and submerged somewhere.)

Ooops, we've taken a back-loop on our journey around the alphabet this time...Bethesda, Maryland

I thought scientists and archeologists now report to have found Atlantis....
.....
I think you're right @MServant...except I don't think it's actually called Atlantis - rather, it's the real city that caused the legend of Atlantis to come about (that is, if I'm thinking of the right documentary...)

:lol3: No, no battle, I promise Just defending our honour a littleGloup. Shetland Islands.
Are we heading in to a battle of the continents? :disturb: I hope not, this is such a global game and I'd hate to see us becoming a battle zone... :lol3:
(I'm sorry, I didn't realize how insulting my previous comment sounded. My poor attempt at humour backfires often. In all honesty, I really do enjoy BBC and all types of documentaries, so thanks for posting that link.)Legends are often based on some grain of truth...particularly if it's known where the legend originated (in this case, it was Plato). Don't be so insulting to us Brits please...especially as you live in the land of conspiracy theorists
