My partner has recently had the flu and now I've got it but I've also noticed my kitten doobie is sneezing aswell? doobie is 8 months old, she's playing and eating as normal. Do you think it could be a cold or should I go to the vet??

I dont think cats can catch human colds. But if your kitty is sneezing along with runny nose and eyes, you need to get him some antibiotics from the vet. If he's just sneezing only.. it might go away by itself or maybe he's allergic to some dust or something in the house.

I want to leave the myth that people and pets can get sick and give it to each other. When my girls got sick first my baby Jelly Bean got sick right after. She had been a house cat due to broken leg. Every cold that my girls get our house dog gets sick. Now that we keep the cats outside they don't seem to get sick when we do.
Also that if your cats get sick and throw up and eat and eat our vet suggested changing their food. It worked.
