Two pieces center cut bacon, one over easy organic large brown egg, two pieces of toast with unsalted butter and large glass of home squeezed pink grapefruit juice! Oh yes I had lime marmelade on one piece of toast! Yummy Sunday breakfast

A weird breakfast: mate with chocolate brownies... followed by some rosemary focaccia leftovers.

I think my BIL is the best griller ever. He sent some food home with Rick last night and we just had a bit of lunch. My BIL is strictly a charcoal man; he doesn't use a gas grill. I don't know how he gets such a crust on his meats, but man, good stuff. We had some grilled kielbasa with grilled pork with some pickled coleslaw and some really decadent smoky bean soup. The kicker was a delicious Texas sheet cake for dessert. I just texted him to say that he could cook for me any time. He is a grill king, that's for sure. I need to take lessons from that man.

We've been talking about getting a charcoal grill as we only have a gas grill right now. I think we seriously need to look into charcoal.

I have always preferred charcoal to a gas grill.  I think the charcoal grill is the true outdoor grilled flavor.

I have used gas grills my whole life. It was what my parents used and my FIL does also. I bought myself a charcoal grill about 6 months ago because I wanted to see the difference. I'll never go back to gas. The flavor that you get over charcoal is so much better. Gas is convenient but charcoal is better.
