Advice on meds for cats.............

Can anyone give me some advice,  as to what I can give my cat, he's about 12 lbs, 6 yrs old............for a fever.....................I would really appreciated it.

First you have to find out what is causing the fever, if you reduce it without knowing you could mask the underlying cause. Give Lysine treats found at pet stores or on Amazon, they help build up the immune system, if you KNOW it's a cold or virus. If I was you I'd be on the phone to a vet, they should be able to help you over the phone if you know what the problem is. There is a lot of help on the internet too. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm sorry, but that type of advice can't be given here. To quote from the Forum Rules

If you suspect your cat has a fever, please take him to a vet.
