Hi,

My cat was out of a stray cat that a friend had taken in and nursed back to health, so I know she's some form of a mix, but I'm interested to know if she has any significant breeds that are viewable.

About her: She is very gentle and doesn't use her claws ever, will play by putting her teeth on you, but never biting. She is the most vocal cat I've ever met in my life. She will purr anytime you touch her, even if she's also grumbling at you for holding her. She has an insane personality-runs to the door every time you walk in, but will also hold a serious grudge if you don't pay enough attention to her (my roommate got a dog and she would grumble and hiss at my roommate for a week). She is very adaptable and has gone through moving and other pet additions with ease but does NOT like other cats. She isn't necessarily a fan of water, but doesn't hate it. Her favorite toy is one that's on a stick that "flies" like a bird through the air. I would say she's a fairly picky eater. She won't touch anything tuna flavored.

Looks: She is a calico medium/long haired cat with a fully white belly. Her back paws have tufts of hair coming out between each toe. She has a very long tail, with longer hair than the rest of her body. There are some hairs that are 6 inches or longer. she's a little higher in the hind than the front. She's a fairly delicate framed cat-she's too big for a kitten collar, but is on the tightest a cat size will go. Overall, she's a long and lean looking cat.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might have some insight! it won't matter, obviously, but I just would like to know! :]

The overall looks seems to be quite alike a Norwegian Forest cat.  Really!

Do you know how the mom was looking??   As she or quite differen

I dont understand quite what you write about her size.   Is she smallish for her age, or is she big?

Norwegians proper tends to be big.   I wisited once a NFC breeder who complained her cats were nice but smallish, and she hoped she could breed forward a bigger size.

The males were very visible bigger then the usual cat size.  The female, the mom, was just somewhat bigger than my residents, Russian blue ex-studs.

She sounds like quite a personality.   Im sure you are happy you got her from the litter this rescued cat got.

Good luck!   @ashleyyclaire

Thank you! I can definitely see that in her. I know she's likely a mix of a million things, but its nice to have an idea since she is seriously the best cat I could have asked for. She's super tolerant, friendly and never gives you a dull moment.

Her mom passed away this summer, but her old owner has some photos of her. I think body type and size is similar, her mom just has more hair. Her brother, who is still owned by the mother's owner, is massive and probably almost double the size of mine. They were born 7/26/2013, so she's a little over a year old. I'd say she's average cat size but she isn't a "thick" built cat, but rather a slightly finer boned cat.

She was a farm cat out in the middle of no where. When she was out wandering one day, she was accidentally hit by a drive by car. She's missed dearly, as she has a similar personality to my girl, but her owners are thankful they had the time with her they did, considering she came to them nearly dead and emaciated.
