Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me or advise wat I can do next. My 5 month old kitten had a accident yesterday by climbing one of my cabinets and it falling on top of her, after it happened she seemed in a lot of pain and wasn't using one of her back legs so i immediately took her to the vets. They had a feel around and said they couldn't feel anything and it was probably just a sprain and give her a anti inflammatory injection. All last night and this morning she seems worse constantly crying out in pain hardly touched her food, do I just give it a couple days like vet suggested or take her back to be seen again? Also is there anything I can do to help with the pain? Many thanks emma

Do NOT give a cat anything made for humans. It can KILL your cat!! You may or may not know but just in case!!

I'd at the very least give the vet a call to see what they think would be best. Did they check to make sure there wasn't any internal bleeding?

Not much help but I hope your baby feels better soon. :(

They "felt around" and declared it a sprain?!  That sounds like medical negligence to me.  They should've at the very least taken x-rays.  I would get her to an emergency vet ASAP and never go back to those charlatans again.  Geez!
