I recently went away for a long weekend and left Mouse with other people for the first time since I adopted him 3 1/2 years ago.  He was with my logers who adore him and he adores them but when I got home they told me Mouse had seemed a little depressed, and then sent me a couple of photos of him with a new snuggle-buddy that he found.  He's never paid any attention to this little soft toy cat before but here he is snuggling up to go to sleep with her. He looks so sad

@HeatherNichelle  your little guy  certainly seems to like being in the middle of things.
Very cute.  I'm loving the 'tough guy' outfit though he doesn't look so tough to me.

Thank you!! That is my favorite of his t-shirts, but he doesn't get to wear it very often- only on cold summer days after his haircut. However, he is tougher than he looks, as he lives daily with hip dysplasia...but other than that you are correct, he is a total pushover!!

See, you don't need to spend money on cat beds. Just go out and buy yourself some more shoes, make everyone happy.

:9:

Lol I have to put a sock on the door of my shoe closet because Foley figured out how to open it. I have tens of boxes there and he already peed once :alright:

He loves any and every box though. I'm gonna have to put it away because he and Maia have been fighting over it the entire day. If she's laying down he walks by and gives her the "stare" and since she's a princess and does not like to be looked at, she starts hissing and then she leaves the box. As soon as she leaves he goes in and so on.

MInchin has a few sleeping spots.  This was where he crashed tonight after laying siege to the living room.  hehe  He just sprawls.  No sweet curls for him.  Makes me giggle.

I'd love to see it in b&w if you've tried that effect.  Thanks, catspaw.  (Bet he'd look cute in sepia, too.  But I'm biased.  hehe)

Now here is a post about a cat who knows he owns his home.
   MInchin looks very chilled here.
I'm just glad there weren't a bunch of empty beer bottles, and a bag of Cheetos under his arm.  haha  He's like the proverbial bull in a China Shop.  Everything is shiny and everything is his. Including my resident cat, Pi.  Minchin's only been with us for a little over a month.  He's five months old and quite the superstar.
