I ordered my kitties Christmas Present!!

I'm getting my kitties what I hope will be a fun interactive present!!   I have a feeling Spencer will kill it the first day!!! LOL  

It's remote controlled.  I ordered the grey one.

I saw a YouTube video of a kitten playing with one and I just had to get it!

It was under $7 and free shipping on eBay, so if they don't like it, I'm not out a lot of money. If they like it, I'll order another couple as backups in case Spencer kills this one!  LOL

I'm wondering how well it would work on carpet. Please let me know when it comes? This is something I'm sure the kids would love! Esp Tabby, who loves to "kill" red laser dots! 

I have one of these and only take it out once in a while. I have it in a cabinet with other toys. It is battery operated and you have to wind it up and then just let it go.  It works ok on carpet if it isn't too thick.  Geez, I even forgot I had it  

Note:  I just took it out of the cabinet and it is not battery operated, just wind it up.  Unfortunately it didn't work very well on my carpet.

We had one like this, the cat's loved it but the only thing was hair getting round the wheels causing them to stop. We had to keep pulling the wheels off to clean the cat hair out.

You can look for other vendors; some are cheaper but they charge postage. I bought the one that was the best value for me.

I doubt this would do well on carpet. It's not a high priced unit and the wheels look small.  I have hardwood floors though, so that's why I ordered it.
