hi guys
i have a problem with my cat peeing on my couch! i found some of other people here have similar issue but mine is a little different.
so i reacued my cat about a 6 months ago. she is spayed and she used her litter box with NO problem!!
then i moved to new place and bought a new couch. she started peeing on it and my bed. i thought she was stressed out by new place and new couch. i had to wash my couch cover everyday ( with no ammonia detergent)
i cleaned the whole couch with enzyme cleaner+vinegar+baking soda.
I also tried citronella oil. she didnt mind at all! she kept going on couch and peed.
not only that, i used to cover my couch with plastic bag & foil. it worked for a few days.and today! she pee on that plastic bag too!!
i tried putting litter box on the couch and slowly moved it. now she has 2 litter box, one on left side of couch and the other one on right.
when i saw her peeing on plastic bag, i thought my self, there's no hope!!
she still use her litter box! she poops and pees! but why???? i clean the box every morning and night. no change in litter. i dont see any symptom of UTI, like bleeding or frequent access to litter box , NOTHING!
why would she do this? it's been a month since i moved to a new place and she seems totally fine. she goes everywhere in this apartment, plays on her tree and tables!
i have no idea!! i make sure to play with her everyday!
please help ! i need some good advice!
