Hello, I'm Erica. I've Had Cats All Throughout My Childhood But It's Been About 13 Years Since I've Last Had A Cat. My Birthday Was July 16th And On That Day I Told My Mom, "Let's Go To The Shelter!" And So We Did. Now I Had No Intentions Of Actually Getting A Kitten Because I Still Live At Home With My Parents And My Dad Has Been Opposed To The Idea Of Us Having A Pet, Hence The 13 Years That I Haven't Had One, But He Was Out Of Town So... Haha. Anyway, I Would Just Go To The Shelter To Visit When I Was Craving A Little Kitty Love So I Figured That's What This Visit Would Be Like.
Seeing That It's Summer, There Were A Lot Of Kittens In The Cages, But This Little Guy Was Insistent That I Pay Attention To Him. He Was Very Playful, Had A Lot Of Spunk And He Flipped A Couple Of Times Just To Get Me Back Over To His Cage So I Had To Ask For A Play Pass With Him.
Long Story Short, He Won Me Over So He HAD To Come Home With Me

This Was His First Night Home. I Spent Time With Him In His "Safe Room" Before Getting Ready For Bed And For Some Reason He Loved, And Still Loves, To Get Into My Hair/On My Head
The First Couple Of Days You Could Always Find Him On My Chest. He Craved The Closeness I Suppose

His New Favorite Spot To Sleep Is My Laptop
He Looks Like A Black Cat, And That Wouldn't Be An Incorrect Assumption, But Everyday It Seems To Me That His Body Is Lightening Up. His Head, Tail And Paws Are A Solid Black Color, But The Rest Of His Body Has A Lighter Undercoat And Faint Stripes
