cat poop mystery

Hey everyone so my kitten eats animonda carny and "appears" to be pooping normally. In the litter box all is solid/softsolid and well formed however sometimes I find drops of poop outside the litter box as she is going out of it...they are soft mushy drops which I'm thinking might be diarrhea but how can there be soft gooey poop drops yet in the litter box all the poop is solid and well formed?!?! But then again i have no idea how diarrehea in clumping litter looks like....if it's clumps like urine then she might be having diarrehea and I'm missing it. Poop should look like toosie rolls. What your describing does sound like soft mushy poop which usually does indicate a problem. How old is she? How long have you had her? Has she been dewormed and/or checked for parasites? In kittens, parasites are the most common cause of diarrhea.

thank you for your reply! she is 4 months old and i have had her for a month. however as i said the poop is well formed in the litter box so i cant find an explanation to these drops outside. and she has been dewormed two times.
