Anyone have an idea what these spots on Cindy's nose could be?

Four different vets have seen her, as well as multiple vet techs and nurses.  None of them know what it is, and none of them are very concerned.  They sort of come and go and when she's at the vet's office they will scrape them off. But they come back again.  The vets might not be concerned, but I am.  They have to be caused by something and I really would like to know what. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry.

They don't seem to bother her, I never see her trying to scratch tem or anything.  Right now she's headed over this way to say Hi to Swanie and use her scratching post.

Have the vets prescribed any topical ointments? Antibiotics?

Does she / did she spend a lot of time in the sun?
She is indoor only, but she does like to lounge in the sunbeams.   I don't know what she did before we got her, she was already an adult and we don't know her history.

Skin issues are hard to diagnose, oftentimes a vet will prescribe a topical antibiotic just toi see if it helps. Also white cats are prone to skin cancer, a biopsy would help with that if that was suspected.

Hmm...  I know with humans, a little bit of skin cancer can manifest as a scab that appears, falls off, and keeps coming back. I certainly don't want to alarm you into thinking the worst since you are already going through so much. It's just the first thing that came to my mind because a woman I work with had a scab on the side of her nose that kept reappearing and she had it biopsied.

I understand your worry.  Did the vet give you any idea of what it could be?  I know my cat Pepper developed spots around his nose and ears which turned out to be kitty acne.  Yes...kitties can get acne.  My vet said I could put creams on the spots but there was one thing I wanted to try before I used anything that he could ingest and get sick.  I got rid of all the cat's plastic bowls.  I bought glass bowls for their wet food, stainless steel for their dry food and stainless steel for their water bowls.  I found that the instances of the spots decreased substantially.  Hope this helps.  Do let me know how you make out.

Vets have no idea what it is. Cindy has had the acne and we've had creams and antibiotics periodically for her skin problems in general.  We got rid of the plastic bowls and got stainless steel.  I don't know if glass would be better, but she's stopped eating wet food and she eats her dry food from a mat.  Hey wait, I just thought, is the mat plastic? Is that an issue?  I need to figure that one out.  Thank you for giving me something to think about!

Yes, that was and is my biggest fear - cancer. Especially since she already had the tumor.  She's going back for her B12 shot next week, maybe I'll see again if they feel biopsy would be warranted.  Poor little sweetie has been through so much, I hate to keep putting her through more.  I just want her to be a happy kitty for as long as she has left (and I hope it is for a LOT longer).
