We just noticed her belly looks different. She won't let me look at her nipples to see if they are unlarged or not but doesn't look like any fur is missing? She had one kitten about a month ago but it wasn't fully formed and did not survive.. Please help if can.

Is spaying of an preg cat an option for you?  If so, do it asap practically possible   So early in the (possible) pregnancy it it still not big bizness even for a less experienced vet surgeon.

And she apparently should be spayed, if not now so later on.  Or rather, for two weeks ago.

Good luck!

Hello...well we are hoping she is pregnant this time.. But hopefully she is and then yes plan to get her sprayed. She has a vet appt in 2 wks to confirm if she is pregnant or not.. Was just looking for someone who has experienced this before to give their opinion :)

Understand that pregnancy is tough on a cat's "resources" (i.e. nutrition, etc.), and having a malformed kitten would likely indicate an animal that was unduly stressed during the pregnancy in some manner. And then to hope she is pregnant again within a month of giving birth?  That's really not healthy for the cat at all. I'm not saying that you don't care for her, I just question your motivation... if it is something you want for yourself even more because it is my OPINION that a second pregnancy so close to a failed one cannot not be good for your companion. I would ask why, but I do not want to open a potential firestorm.

So, consider the animal, the stress on her and decide what you believe is best for her. Obviously, and especially during "kitten season," the opinions on this forum would run against bringing more cats into the world already flooded with them. But even if you have homes in the waiting for you, again, please consider the burden on your furbaby!

Yes, unfortunately, two pregnancies so close together is really not healthy.  As the first pregnancy did not end well, there is also an increased chance that this one will not, especially as it was immediate. I do not mean to sound harsh but it is definitely not in her best interest to be pregnant, ever, but especially not right now. How old is she?

When you have time please give the following articles some consideration:
