I have an 18 year old domestic cat named Casey. I've had her for all of her life. My dad rescued her. For most of her life she has been healthy. The only problems she has ever had was hair ball and crystals in her urine. Lately for the last two months she has been crying every time she goes into the cat box to urinate. Her urine has also been extremely potent in smell. There are times at night she cries like she is in pain. I started giving her cranberry relief from nutravet. After about a month no changes I finally brought her to vet on Monday. Well the vet did a urineanalysis as well as blood work. They tested her for hyper tension. The vet checked her eyes as well. The vet noticed that when she drew blood that it was coming out to fast. Also she noticed her urine was diluted. Well after all is said and done the vet said she is fine. But after 18 years I know my cat and she is not fine. She still screams when she pees and her urine is still so potent. I'm lost I dunno what to do. The vet wouldn't give her any meds either. Her hearing and eye site are good.

Honestly it sounds like you need a new vet.  Your cat sounds like she is becoming blocked, and regardless is in pain.  Please look for a new vet immediately.  The easiest way is to get a recommendation from a trusted friend who likes their vet.

I agree.  It is time to get a second opinion.  You would if you were sick.  Good wishes to you and your kitty.
