Hello, everyone!  I'm considering trying this on a couple of my feral colonies but I don't know anything about it except what I've read on the Internet.   I have used herbs for my cats my entire life but only the native ones which my dad taught me to use.  The cats had responded well to CoQ10/L-lysine supplements, but I feel their immune systems could use some additional support. Obviously, I can't administer individually, so whatever I use needs to be okay for an assortment of kittes. Any ideas??

Astragalus is an immune booster / immuno-stimulant, so it may be contraindicated in autoimmune disorders and where immune responses are abnormally increased. Also, only Astragalus membranaceus is considered safe, as many other Astragalus species are toxic. The description for the Seven Forests product does not specify the species. Personally, I would not consider this product until the species can be confirmed.

On another note, there are quite a few TCS members who use Lactoferrin for immune system support. Perhaps this thread might provide you with some useful information about it:
