Hi can anybody help me I have contacted the person where I got my cat from an he said that she didn't for out for 5 days before I got her an I have had her for 63 days now so that would make her 68 days pregnant. I have taken her to the vets an all he's said is let the pregnancy run its course. I'm worried because everywhere I have read has said its dangerous for cats to go over 69 days and she has showed no signs of labour at all no milk around nipples not nesting nothing. But I can still see and feel the Kitty's moving what should I do thanx

When did you take her to the vet? Was a cesarean section discussed? Did the vet tell you at what point you should take action? Was there a reason the vet told you that he was not concerned?

I want to add, it seems cats manage a little too long pregnancies better than humans.

While the opposite end, kittens manage too short pregnancies badly, also here unlike the humans.

So, while a cesaerean in a too long pregnancy may save the day both for mom and kittens,  it will endanger or even doom the kittens, if you happened to count wrongly, and the pregnancy wasnt at all too long.

So this is tricky, and need to be discuss through with the vet in charge of your kitty.

The vet just said the kittens seem to be growing fine an because I didn't know if the guy I got the cat was telling the truth on when she was outside last she could have another week left I just don't know what to do .

I guess I can only say if you trust your vet I'd follow his advice; if you don't I'd seek a second opinion. There are risks either way unfortunately.

OK I think I will give her one more day then take her to a different vet just to make sure I know I didn't plan any of this but I'm just so worried about her and her new Kitty's I don't care what it cost I just want them to be ok. An will be getting her spayed as soon as I can.
