Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum but not to cats. I've had cats and other various animals for the 38 years I've been on the planet.

Currently I have Chipsie(avatar pic). She is a black, brown and white, short hair tabby. She will be turning 19 in May. I got Chipsie for my 19th birthday and she's been with me ever since. Her sister Moki unfortunately passed away in 2009 from cancer but since then Chipsie has really blossomed being the only kitty in the house:)

I also have a black and grey lionhead rabbit named Sophie. They get along really well together:)

Chipsie has had some health issues but the holistic vet I take her to has been amazing at keeping her healthy and balanced. Her current regiment consists of TCM(traditional Chinese medicine), chiropractic, acupuncture, western herbals, reiki, massage therapy, grain free food and lots of LOVE!

Chipsie enjoys laying in the sun and face brushes!

I hope to learn some new things about cats and hopefully I can share my experiences with others that need help.

Thank you for reading:)

Hi there, welcome to TCS.  Chipsie looks seriously cute in her pink outfit: nice for keeping a senior kitty cozy:-D I'll be waiting for more photos to see some more of Chipsie and whether her whiskers really are as spectacular as they are in your avatar!

I previously had 2 tabby sisters and lost one just before her 18th birthday.  My remaining Pal blossomed too, I couldn't believe how much being an only kitty changed her life.  I think the last 4 years of her life were the most relaxed and happy she had from when she had been a tiny kitten.  She had arthritis, and laterly developed high blood pressure and blindness but she was still the most loving and chilled out cat I could have imagined.  Our senior cats truly steal our hearts.  I look foward to hearing more about Chipsie, and hope her health remains stable and comfortable.  It sounds like you have some amazing resources for her and hearing about them will be really interesting.

Hi, My husband and I live in Vancouver but he's from Red Deer and we've both spent lots of time in Edmonton. Some of my closest friends live there.

Chipsie is adorable. I'm sorry to hear about her recent health problems but it sure sounds like she's in the best hands and has a wonderful mom.

I'd love to see a picture of your rabbit. I don't know that I've ever seen a lion head.

Anyway, I'm new, too, so just wanted to say hello
