OMG.  Those probably don't fit into the "family friendly" category but I have not laughed this hard in--well, I don't know how long, I am crying!  Those are hysterical.
LMAO, Mouse is looking worried in case my tears are me freaking out!
@Fhi09 thank you for that link, it was the perfect companion for @MoochNNoodles little 'moment', and between the two of you you have offered a great cure to anyone feeling a bit down and groggy. My lungs are well cleared out from all the laughing.

I can't stop laughing at this thread.

I have been so exhausted lately and I am having trouble sleeping. I've been tossing and turning for hours. I would think being pregnant and chasing around an 18 month old all day would make me able to sleep...but nope.

No, quite the opposite....LOL....but it may have been all banned, anyhow....LOL.

Oh, since I found you here  @MoochNNoodles, I know you cannot do anything much right now in being sick and all, but how come you never entered any of your "famous drawings" in the March Drawing Cats contest.  I thought for sure I would see one of your quick famous entries, like on the babble thread???

Is it just too time consuming, to draw???

take care, and get well fast.   LOL.....keep posting....with or without the kindle...lol
I just haven't taken time to sit with it I guess.  Maybe I'll have time to sit with it later and see what I can come up with for the fun of it.  I am having my first coffee in days!

ou made me snort my coffee this morning!
I haven't laughed like this is quite a while and it was worth every chuckle as I was cleaning coffee from my desk. Thanks so much!
Mooch, I'm not sure if we want you to feel better! That was hilarious!
Gee thanks Pam!
Sorry to disappoint you all; but I'm on the desktop and I think I slept about 11 hours again last night!

Me either!  Good luck with the sleeping!  I know how hard that is.  That night DH and I were sick both my kids were up briefly and it was hard enough; fortunately both times were when I was up already.  Being pregnant makes everything harder!  The kids have had a LOT of TV time this week.  DD is in for a rude awakening next week when things get back to normal!

You think @MoochNNoodles  was involved in any of the following?

http://funkypickens.com/25-funny-auto-correct-fails/
I looooove auto-correct fails!  Sometimes when I'm having a bad day I go find some of those to laugh it off with.
Definitely not family friendly or my personal "language" preference; but good for a laugh for sure!
Although it does make me glad to not have a smart phone.  I'm usually diligent about proofreading what I post here from the kindle.  Plus it takes me so much longer to type.

Tears rolling down my face too, sorry!   The 'lick suck a rock' post has to be one of the funniest I've read in a long time!   Very educational thread too, what with Fitbits and Neti pots!

Just starting to get my energy back after the cold virus I had the other week.  Am on 'holiday' this week but if I hadn't been I think I might just have kielded over I was so exhausted at the start of the week.
Hilarious!  LMBO over here too!!    I took my neti pot out agian too!    Fitbits? Never heard of that one. Sounds like I need one of those too!

I am exhausted & SORE!!  I cleaned a new client's house yesterday for the first time.  Originally didn't think it would be that bad, because they previously had a team of 2 girls cleaning every other week.

(Last time was 3 wks ago).  "I don't know what they were doing, but it wasn't cleaning!  There was stuff that in NO WAY had been cleaned in months, much less 3 wks ago!

Lets just say it turned into an initial cleaning, something I didn't think I'd have to do, sense on the heals of last cleaners, even though 3 wks ago.  The house is less that 2,000 sq. ft. & I was there

for 5 HRS!!!!      I usually don't go over 4 hrs, it's just too much physically, sense it's just me, but had to get it done!!  I'll be there every 2 wks, & should be easier now that I've done all that I did yesterday!

They took my last open spot & after only starting this a year ago, I am officially booked!!!! (7 biweeklies, & 2 once a months!)

Congrats  @Angels mommy    for having that schedule officially booked up!!

Goes to show how motivated and physically fit you are.

5 hours....I would be dying, after 2, I think.

Have to have you post a thread on TCS, and give us, who are not at all motivated, pointers, in how its supposed to be done right. (And any little tricks, to make it go faster....

I would, forever, be grateful...lol.

You know what I just realized, @MServant    She has to recover from those 5 hours first, then how will she even fit in a "secrets of cleaning" thread, since she has a busy schedule.

Alas, I think, we will ALL be back to square one...

5 HOURS!?  Wow.  Although at this moment my house could use 5 hours of cleaning and organizing!  A couple times when I had just DD my Mom would come pick her up before breakfast and take her for the day and I'd spend the day cleaning and organizing.  It's so much easier for me when I can just get right to it and keep going with the music turned up!  I hate having to stop and start again; it's seriously distracting and destroys my motivation.  Sometimes now my Mom will take DD for the day and I'll put my earbuds in and deep clean the bathrooms while DS naps; but it's not like when the house gets a thorough cleaning.  I love when DH comes home and says "Wow...."  He is a way better house keeper than I am; even without 2 tiny tornadoes to undo what you just did.

Now that we've talked about that; I'm ready for my next nap.  DH and I took the kids out back for hours this afternoon.  They even had lunch outside.  DS was a little dirt/sidewalk chalk dirtball when they came in!  He went straight in the tub and then down for a nap and then DH and I dozed.  I think a cat galloping across the house is what woke me up.  I had some soup while wrapped up in my fuzzy throw from my TCS Secret Santa last year and now I need another nap.  I don't see us making church tomorrow.  I can't believe how much energy this sapped out of both of us!
All we really did with the kids outside was sit in the lawn chairs really.  Beyond fetching toys from the shed and little things like that.

Maybe you should have blood tests to see if you have mono or anemia?

OK, perhaps let Angels mommy have a rest from her hard work....  What we all need is a general Motivation thread for those of us that are prone to feeling exhausted a lot of the time and can't quite make it as far as 'Exercise Motivation'!  Ideas for getting us up off TCS and in to constructive, useful activity at a level our brains and bodies can cope with.  There is a grain of me thinks if I hadn't spend the majority of the day dozing on the sofa I might feel less tired now than I do.

LOL!  Hmmm, let's see, well, when I used to have to sit at a desk all day & not very busy. I wanted a job that I could leave when I was done. (no sitting around for 7-8 hrs!)

I could pretty much make my own hours, work for myself, help others, & oh yea, CASH!

I never planned on doing this for a living, but it just happened. After I was laid off from my last job, (Re-Bath office manager) I was looking for something.

My mom was cleaning for a blind lady, but didn't want to do anymore than the one, because she is retired.  SO, the few who asked my mom, she referred to me.

I also called friends of mine who own a B&B downtown, & another one, I used to host for years ago to see if they needed any help while I searched for a job. (just trying to make some cash!)

One of them helped me out by having me come in & help spring clean a room, & help for a couple of hrs. on an occasional Saturday.

I decided I would give my own business a try.  The owner of the B&B said she was going to be having lunch w/ some ladies, & would "Talk me up."  She took some of my cards to pass out.

From that came my first client /house.  She hired me for biweekly appointments! It is a big old historical house downtown.

Then, another friend of mine who is a retired pharmacist & owns a natural herbal shop needed help because he has a bad back & can't do a lot of it anymore. (& his Chiro. has told him not to).

(& I had just stopped in the shop to visit, & put out some of my cards, then when I told him what I was doing, he said "That must have been why I thought about you the past few days, I need someone to clean!")

Both of those people referred a neighbor, so there were two more!

Next  a friend referred me to someone who is a teacher, then she referred me to another teacher, & so on.

........"AND that's how my business happened in a year!"  Referrals!!

As far as quick tips, I'm not sure about quick, after cleaning a house for 5 hrs.

It took so long because I had to clean the shower 3XS!  Well, to get it to my standards anyway. Lots of soap scum. (& that still didn't get it all after using the Awesome cleaner & then trying Clorox bathroom spray.

Plus, the whole base of the toilet underneath & part on the floor looked like it had never been cleaned by those girls!

I like to try & use natural cleaning stuff, (I make vinegar, lemon juice, & water spray),

but sometimes, you just have to use the other stuff! (Awesome cleaner from the Dollar Tree works great!! BTW)

I also like the disinfecting wipes, like the Clorox ones. Instead of spraying & using up paper towels, they get it all done in one step.

What I have done in my bathroom to make quick frequent clean ups between cleaning is, I keep one of those eraser sponges in the bathroom, along w/ a tub of Clorox wipes, & I also keep a

microfiber cloth hanging on the inside of the closet door to use on the glass shelf & mirror.

Totally agree with that last part @MServant     but  are you really just suggesting a "Time Management while on TCS "  thread?

I am too addicted to TCS,  right now.

Although, constructive, useful activity can be happily incorporated into my day, too.

So are you saying, we make the thread, then make the plans?  I am confused.

The "general Motivation thread" sounds great....but why can't you make it to the "exercise motivation"?  Its not really that far....to go?   I read  some of it and its sounds like they do a lot of walking....totally great. Can't I just read it?  Do I have to actually do the walking?....lol  (I'll go away now....cheers.)

Now, I think it it is time to go put together my pizza. & bond with the couch for the rest of the weekend!
Now there is a good idea, and I think you have earned it!
Me thinks so, too....lol.

wow ...so networking, referrals, word of mouth......and you have the drive to run your own business. wow.

So Clorox wipes,

vinegar, lemon juice and water spray,

and Awesome cleaning product or equivalent for bathroom.

do you begin in bathroom, then, and then do vacuuming and dusting later on?

Also, do you have to mop the floors?

What about cat or pet hair?

  any more tips.  appreciated.

While bonding with the couch, can you still post on TCS?  lol

Yup, @MServant   your "Motivation Thread" is looking better, and better....lol.  (Must get off couch, right now)

Years ago I knew a woman who cleaned houses and a couple of offices.  She said she would do the same thing on an initial cleaning.  You're right though, with a cleaning service being there so recently it shouldn't have needed that.  Maybe that's why they are no longer cleaning that house.

I'm going to look for this Awesome cleaner.  DH wears a lot of sunscreen in the summer and it makes cleaning the tub and shower walls even harder!  The best thing I've used is that Kaboom cleaner they advertise on TV but I have to put the bathroom fan on and try not to breath at all.  It's horribly irritating!
