Hi, everyone... I'm a recently graduated student with an an eight-year-old tuxedo named Luna. I absolutely adore this cat although unfortunately, she has to stay at my parents' house until my living situation changes. I recently began working at a fish store that also specializes in dog and cat food which is where I began to learn more about cat nutrition. After doing some research, I decided to join this forum to get advice on how to improve my cat's diet... Based on what I've read lurking around this site, the community seems friendly and active; I've already learned a lot so far from both posts and the articles.

I grew up with cats but Luna is the first that I've actually owned. I got her at four years because a friend who I used to work for had her (along with many others) as a foster via a local animal rescue group. Luna caught my attention because she was such a chatterbox... After adopting her, I found out how friendly and playful she could be, even if she can be a bit capricious when it comes to receiving lovies.

Thanks for the welcome! That is an adorable kitten you have in your signature there, especially the last pic where he/she's looking up from the carpet!

I get to visit her each week... I spend at least one night at my parents' house so I can be with her. (Oh, and see the family, of course!
) I didn't get to see her often when I was in school because of my homework load, so I am really enjoying seeing her weekly. Whenever I come home I try and give her a good workout with the cat teaser, or now that the weather is looking up, take her for a closely supervised jaunt outside. Hopefully after my current lease is up, things will work out that I can live somewhere with her starting this summer... That's my goal, anyway.

Oh, yeah, don't forget the parents.
That's neat you spend so much time with her!  I hope it works out for you to have her live with you soon.
