Hi Patricia,

Well this is sure good to hear, it is always a great sign for a cat to eat on it's own, doesn't even matter so much the amt. eaten, but the interest is a big step here!

I can hear in your words that you do understand where I'm coming from, despite advising over the net, I do get emotionally involved, it is my passion to help cats, as well as the owners who struggle, and it stays with me just as it would if you were my nextdoor neighbor asking for help.

So thank you, and will be watching for any/all updates on how she's coming along.

Dear All

This is an update to let you know, Maggie is on the way up. She has been on steroids for the past week and a couple of days and it seems to work together with the antibotics. She has gained some weight and is slowly making progress, being up to her old tricks. But we are not over the hump yet, one day at a time but there are all good signs so far and I feel encouraged with that. Giving her the pills is not such a big hassle anymore and after efforts, mixing it with foods seem to work best, despite my initial success with the pill popper. I am glad, this way it is not so stressful for her and she relaxes.

What can I say, it all takes time to learn, kitty and owner.

The steroids lets her eat a lot and the bathroom, no problem. I wish it was always like this.

All in all, things are looking good.

Warmest

Patricia

This is just the kind of news we want to hear! Well done Patricia! :)

Remain guarded of course, and as you said, one day at a time, but this is a very good sign she will be able to recover.

Keep us posted!!

Thank you, also very happy about the current developments regarding Maggie. She is such a sweetheart and I will do what it takes, how ever long it takes. So far so good and she is responding well. I have uploaded a new photo.

Thank you, Angel's Mom. I couldn't agree more. She is now officially spoilt, you should see
Not that I don't spoil her, but more so in the last 10 days and she gets used to things pretty fast demanding them later

LOL! Angel is a boy.  The first year he was hanging around, before no one claimed him, so off to the vet we went to make it "official,"  I thought he was a she. I had only had a dog growing up, & Angel was already neutered, so looking like what a girl did to me, I thought he was a she.
oops!  He already knew his name, so I didn't change it, thinking well, at least it's a unisex name in some cultures!

If I had really thought about it, I should have just added an "O" & called him "Angelo," sense I'm half Italian, can't believe I didn't think of that! Oh well!

He was really named for what he was/is when he cam to me. I tried many different names on him, even when I thought he was a girl, & nothing seemed to fit. "No wonder."

(I finally wrote our story, I just have to get a friend to edit it for me. Then I wanted to post it in the articles section, if it's not too long.")

Angel or Angelo, it doesn't really matter, as he was guided and so were you to leave things as they were/are. Looking forward to reading your story.

Have a great Sunday
