Yeah their talking about it here in Ohio also.  At least we got a break from it.  It snowed heavy today but didn't last long, it ending up just being a dusting that melted back off.  We had 2 really warm days and most of the earlier snow melted, all that is left is the mounds where they cleaned parking lots.  It's cold again now but it's a seasonable cold.  It's supposed to be back down to 0 F with this next round of it.  I am so ready for spring.  I hope the thing about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb is true.

12+ according to the article in this morning's local paper. Five inches on Sunday with a good 10+ on Monday before it tapers off. We'll see what they say as we get closer to Sunday night.

Rick is calling the driveway plow guy over lunch today to put us on his Monday list. There's no way we can shovel that much snow by hand, even if we do take our time with the shoveling.

They were originally calling for ice here, but it seems that the ice-line has moved way south. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. And I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore.

Our normal highs at this time of the year are pushing 40. We're not even to 20 yet. This whole winter has been disgusting.

We're supposed to be in the forties too, our highs for this weekend: SINGLE DIGITS!!!! I suppose the good thing out of all this, I don't think the fruit trees are going to bloom too soon this year!

This is the winter that never ends.

It just goes on and on my friends.

Some people started shoveling it not knowing what it was,

And they'll continue shoveling it forever just because...

I am REALLY worried about this from the wind/ice and our trees-last storm we lost BIG limbs one almost totaled BIL car that was at our house.  We are in the 6-8" for snow.   I have my ex feral in house in cage as terrified he will go under a shed and then be stuck.  He is not happy...at all. Looking like an animal shelter with his cage and dog crates in middle of living room.  I want to run to get another container of pet safe ice melt tomorrow.  So happy for self check outs as I can only imagine the lines.

We were supposed to get inches of rain and strong wind here but so far it's fizzling.  We've had 1.3" of rain overnight and today was supposed to be crazy but....it hasn't rained all afternoon and there's only a slight breeze.

:slant: Was suppose to have my brother over tomorrow with his family but they just cancelled due to SNOW SNOW SNOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems every Saturday we get dumped on with that white stuff. And, get this - Larry has (we think) a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder from all of the heavy shoveling this winter. I don't think he can handle anymore shoveling snow and then that leaves only ME. But - knowing him - he will still shovel even though I ask him not to with that shoulder.

Thursday and yesterday we had a blizzard. Yesterday there were windchill and blowing snow advisories. I woke up this morning to this!!  And I predicted it months ago! It's never nice on my birthday! :(

And the good news is that it's supposed to be like this all week long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Weather Channel said 6-10 for us but my electric company posted an update showing 10-14 for where I live.  We've had a lot of storms this winter; but this may be the most snow we've gotten at once.  And it's supposed to be very cold with it.  I'm not sure I'll even let the kids go play in it with it being so cold.  I'm really frustrated almost to the point of tears.  My mother's spring flowers are either poking through or blooming.

Went up to 6-16 an now they are saying 6-10.  Anything over a few inches is not welcome from husbands point of view.

3-5 inches expected over here and is snowing right now.
I think we are getting paid back from the previous couple of years where we had mild winters where it snowed only about 2 times for the entire winter and lightly. We are getting all the snow we should have gotten then now

I'm with your husband!  Anything more than a dusting is too much at this point.  I don't drive in the snow and fortunately I stay home so I don't have to much anymore; but when it traps you inside for days... ugh....

We had the same here.  2 winters ago DD never even got to wear her snow boots.  We gave them to our neighbor's little girl with the tags still on them!  She really got some  use out of them this year!  It has been nice that the kids get to enjoy the snow more; but it's been so cold they've enjoyed it less than you would think.  Next year I'm buying myself boots!
