Milk I really miss it, too - if I have a moment of weakness and eat some ice cream, it needs to be on a day no-one else will be around!
There's no need for you to go without your milk!!!! You've gotta try Lactaid milk! That's what we drink/eat at our house and it makes life smell a lot better! I also found some "lactose free" Ice Cream made by Breyer's!!! Hubby at it all up and loved it!!!

Umm, apples and peppers make me burp (a friend used to make fun of me-I'd eat and apple and burp within 15 minutes).

Beans, beans, the musical fruit
the more you eat, the more you toot
the more you toot, the better you feel
so eat some beans at every meal!

everything for me LOL!! I told my hubby we could go into the 'natural' gas business as much gas we produce LMAO!! Beans, lentils, dairy products which I still eat, pretty much anything. And if I'm not gassy, then I'm plugged

LOL! -couldn't fool you Jellybelly. I guess it's more like the opposite is true. I think I'm the same way, as pretty much anything can give me gas.

Thanks
I can drink the lactaid milk, in small quantities.

JB & Hydroaxe, I've been trying taking enzyme supplements from the health food store & that seems to help - my trouble started after taking extended doses of antibiotics & anti-inflammatory meds. Those are bad news for your digestive system, & it takes a while for your body to recover. The enzymes seem to help, and also there's some stuff called Actimel (in the yogurt section) that you can drink to restore your system after taking antibiotics, that seems to help me too.

Hubby, on the other hand, just seems to be that way naturally

ice cream
garlic
bell peppers

Although not necessarily all together at once.

What are the name of the enzyme supplements? I could do with some, especially as I love cheese, etc.

If your trouble is milk products, Lactaid makes enzyme tablets that work for some people - you take them with milk. They don't seem to work that well for me - the Lactaid milk works better. The enzymes I take are called 'optimum enzymes' from Bluebonnet, but honestly I think it doesn't really matter what brand they are - just go to a health-food store & ask, & compare prices. Also, there's a product called Beano that works great for beans & high-fiber foods...we can eat beans & not have to open the windows if we use it.
