Snick basking in the warmth!

This morning I took a video of Snick basking in the warmth from the sun and wood stove. She looks forward to me getting the wood stove going every morning, then we enjoy the wonderful radiant heat together.

Today we're having a small portion of roof torn off and a new one put on -- it developed a small leak so needed to get done asap. i'll have the remainder of the levels of roof done this coming fall. anyway, you might hear some noise in the video which would be the roofers working.

Ritz loves to sunbath in front of the sliding glass door, it gets the afternoon sun.
And loves to jump up on my bed when I'm making the bed with fresh out of the dryer (warm) sheets. She falls asleep on them, so I have a good excuse for not making my bed!

That is a lovely, furry fireside rug you have in your home.

awww...thank you!

ritz is a smart girl! we get the sun through our windows only until about 2pm each day, then it's on the side of the house that doesn't have windows.

i guess my snick misses out on warm from the dryer laundry/sheets. i fold it all and put it away/make the bed pretty quickly, to get it done and over with.

how would i post to allow others to see a youtube video of my snick? just so i know what to do in the future...

if i understand correctly, as a new member i cannot embed videos. i did check the rules/guidelines before posting that link, but i didn't find anything about links. i'm sure i missed it though, maybe looked in the wrong place.
