^ I'm going to make dinner for my sweetheart and myself.  Baked ham, mashed potatoes, a veggie, and either pie or cake for dessert.

^ No, I am always the victim.  

> I had my hair cut to donate today...and still have plenty left.

^ I'd rather eat at home but I don't want to cook it!

v What was your proudest achievement or moment? 

^ Proudest moment was when the girl I baby sat for from infancy to teenage, told me one Mother's Day, " I'm the woman I am today because of you." She is like

the child I never had. She's grown up now and I have 2 " grandchildren ".

> I don't like to shop for groceries but I like to cook.

v What pet(s) did you have as a child?

^I had Sam, a cat who wandered up to our house and adopted us after my brother and I begging for a cat for a long time and being refused. She was one of the sweetest cats of all time. Somewhat later I had Cornelius also, a little blue parakeet.

v What's on your grocery list?

^  Nothing - I've just done all my shopping.

^ This time of year Abby is usually on her heated pad or perch

^  No, I rarely put polish on my nails.

^ I have been to family gatherings, but never an official "reunion"...which may well be a good thing! LOL!

V What is the longest distance you have ever traveled in one day?

[emoji]11014[/emoji]️I've repeatedly traveled ~9000 km in a day (between Amsterdam and San Francisco). On times I took a non-direct flight I personally traveled further than that, but not start to finish. I can't recall ever traveling further in a day. Even though it's long, I've traveled that route 20 times so it doesn't stand out to me.

^ I've made a cat box once years ago.

v What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?

^ Before I retired, my favorite thing to do was to go somewhere with a camera and take a long walk.  

>  That camera was a 35 mm film camera and I used to develop film in a dark room

v  Did you ever use a 35 mm film camera?  When did you give it up?

[emoji]11014[/emoji]️If I recall correctly my dad had one when I was a kid that I took a few pictures with, but it required good manual focus skills, so the pictures I took were invariably fuzzy. I had more luck with my mother's 24mm with a few presets on a knob. I was probably less than 10 the last time I took a photo with the 35mm.

^ Plants, especially trees

^ A Thousand Splendid Suns

> I'm thinking about adopting a kitten. Hope my kitty likes her if I do.

v What;s the earliest memory you have?

^ My earliest memory is of my dad. He wasn't home much but this one time when he was he took me to my school fall festival. We loved fishing and we went to the fishing game first. I was like in second or third grade. It is one of my favorite childhood memories because I was with my dad and at that time we didn't spend much time together.

> I am going to start fostering for a local animal shelter when I get in my new house.

v It's almost summer in the US, how do you like to spend your summer nights?

^ I love to stay out very late in the summer with the long long days, in the park or walking around outside, drinking tea on a bar terrace maybe. It doesn't really get dark until about 11:30 at midsummer, and it makes me very energetic.
> Winter is actually my favorite season, but I really enjoy the changing of the seasons. Every change is fun.
v What is a change that you enjoy?

^ Moving to a new house or new job or starting a new hobby

> I have been at the same job for 13 years and feel my wanderlust blood start to pump when i think about other possibilies for work.

v What do you do when you have the itch to move/change things in your life? Do you prefer nothing changes or do you like moving around like a gympsy?
