If you were to draw a heat map of your cats' movement around the house, where would be the hot zones? Put simply, where do your cats spend the most time at?

We have window perches above the radiators in the kitchen and living room. The double perch in the big living room window is by far the favorite spot in the house.

The top of the cat tower is definitely Sundar's favourite place, although they both rather like my bed.  Nilah has a cosy round bed on my desk.  And they have a little house out in the enclosure they're very fond of.

Of course if there's a lap around, it's a different story.....

Cassie: On my table bird watching, on top of my cable box in my bedroom, and on my chest.

Monet: On the back of the couch,on his small scratching post in the bedroom bird watching and on the cable box.

Mostly in the bed with the electric blanket turned on High.

Failing that, on the cat tree in the living room. We've had as many as four of the six on the tree.

Her heated cat perch in the dining room, her heated cat bed in the living room (she is spoiled) or on a lap.

My computer room, the cat tree, heated pet bed or couch, my re liner on me, or under my feet when waking to or around the kitchen.

The TV room.  It's south facing and is the warmest in the house so hubby and I hang out there often to watch TV and that's where my laptop computer usually resides so the equation is: Human hang out + warm room = cat hang out.      We have several comfy chairs and couches in there so we've just covered them with blankets and throws for the kitties' comfort.  

Morgana: My lap, legs or chest, my bed, select windowsills, and beside the heater or fireplace during winter. Once in awhile she will snooze in the high up storage area where my clean bed sheets and pillow cases are located.

Camelot: My lap, couch, his own personal tall perch thing with a small pillow and blanket on it.

For both its somewhere in the vicinity of the cat tree. I recently moved the glider chair next to it and now that's Mooch's favorite spot! They like the couch in the evenings when I'm sitting on it or the kids are sleeping.

He spends a lot of his waking hours perched in the window sill. He sleeps in my computer chair a lot during the day. I have a blanket folded in the seat and I park it in the sun for him. When I'm on the couch, he's often in my lap.

At night, he alternates between my bed and a desk chair BF put in the hallway outside of his room. It was just supposed to be there temporarily after he replaced it with a better chair. But Oliver immediately took to it. He likes to dig his nails in and stretch. It's also his hang out spot anytime one of us is showering. As soon as the water is off, he jumps down and pokes his head in the shower, then jumps in to inspect. 

Both my cats consider my bed room to be there home territory and spend most their time there, especially on the bed

During the summer the counter is a FAV spot as it is cool(ac is in that window)  But during winter they love the heated beds I have set up, favorite is the 3 foot dog kennel that is plastic.  I can find MANY all piled up.  I was given a crib that is not to standard took off the front and use it they LOVE that crib.  Have a fitted sheet and then a few cozy blankets they can knead on.  Looking to get another crib at some point to  give them another view-would put that one in the upstairs spare room that gets the sun late in the day.
