I have two young adult male neutered cats. They are very playful, cuddly, and intelligent. They are also healthy and beautiful. Please send me a PM.. These cats are free to a good home due to my allergies.  You can adopt one or both of the cats. Jeff

Hi and welcome to TCS.

It is highly unlikely that you will find someone on this site to adopt your cats.  This isn't that kind of venue. Let alone you don't even say where you are located.

I would first figure out if your allergies can be taken care of.  Many of our members have allergies themselves and manage to keep their beloved kitties at home with them.  I occasionally get itchy eyes but if I take an over the counter allergy medication, it goes away.

Second, never give a cat away for free.  There are people out there that scan for these types of offers only to turn around and use the cats as bait for dog fights, or if kittens, to feed to snakes for instance.  Then there is a population who just enjoys torturing animals.  By saying they are free you may be giving them a death sentence.

I there is a different reason for wanting to rehome your cats I am sure that we can help you troubleshoot the problem and make life for them and you a much happier one.  I do hope you reconsider, cats are family members and should not be tossed aside lightly.  If you really must, please get in touch with your local rescue organizations or no-kill shelters who will be able to screen people properly.  Or, if you continue to do this on your own ask for a small fee for rehoming.  This will help weed out a lot of people who have bad intentions as mentioned above since if you can't even pay a small fee for your pet, most likely you can't afford to keep them.

Hello there, Jeff, and so sorry to hear that you need to rehome your kitties. Your location would be of great help here in case a few members live in your area and can offer up local resources. Also, pictures of the cat's would help as well. Their ages and how long you have had them, etc.

I would also never recommend giving away any kittens or cats for free, ever. There are bad people out there looking for free kitties all the time for ill intentions. :( I can post a link of an agreement for you to peruse if you would like? A contract of sort. Always ask a small fee for the cats - even $35 - $50. If someone is not willing to pay for the cats, then they are not going to be a good home. :nono: Also, keeping them together is important if they are close and bonded. It will help them adjust in their new home.

Another suggestion is to print up a flyer. Add your story and the pictures of the cats and post this flyer in all the vet offices in your area. You would not believe HOW many calls you may receive by just doing this. Plus, most people calling on the cats will already be established clients at that particular vet office and be good loving pet owners.

Have you checked with all family members, friends, co-workers, neighbor's? There may be someone looking for two beautiful kitties such as yours. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Jeff, you didn't answer any of the questions or respond to any of the advices given above. Plus, I don't think most people will be wiling to hand over a phone number or email and as Rosie states above, should be very, very careful doing so. Please do not give the cats away for free, reasons stated above. Would you like a copy of a suggested pet adoption contract? Have you checked with everyone you can possibly think of. I promise you, IF you make the effort and keep reaching out to everyone, a door will open. Something good will come of your hard work, posting fliers and making calls. All my best to the two kitties. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
