We are doing breakfast for dinner. I'm making a recipe my father-in-law sent me for gluten-free blueberry English muffins, square sliced loren sausage from a local british butcher, scrambled eggs with cheese, big salad, 1/2 of a brown cow brand cherry vanilla yogurt with strawberries.  No lunch today - wanted to have this nice big "brunch" dinner ...lol.

I didn't get to make meatballs tonight, actually I went to an animal shelter and volunteered there all day and had a lot of fun! We just decided to go to checkers
I made roast pork. It was rolled and the middle was mostly fat. I love pork fat but this was ridiculous. It was disappointing. I'm looking forward to breakfast now!!
What's checkers - in England it's the prime minister's place outside London. A sort of camp David.
What did you have?

We had roast beef, potatoes, carrots, yorkshire pudding and cake for dessert.
Whoa! Nice dinner! I love Yorkshire pudding!

AyeshaJae, your plate looks lovely!

Whatever we can scrounge at the grocery store will be dinner tonight.

Was it good. I seem to remember you're not mad about your MiL's cooking.
Yeah it was good. Now that I am not feeling so sick, it's better.

Tonight we are having fish and chips. Aimee won't eat the coating on the fish so I have to pick it off for her.

I'm glad you enjoyed yesterday's meal. Fish and chips. Nice. Why don't you make Aimee's without the batter? Grill or pan fry it separately?

It was frozen fish that was already battered. It was on sale so I thought I'd try it. It was pretty good and was really crispy considering it was frozen and just put it in the oven for 25 minutes.

But that's the best part! :lol3:

We had lamb chops because they were on sale and we haven't had them for a while. Tasty! Pushkin kept a very close eye on me while I was eating.
For vege we had lima beans, carrots and beans. And a nice fresh baguette.
Couldn't be bothered making dessert so I'm having a couple of Tim Tams. :D

Thwarted again. I used to have to liquidise my daughter's spaghetti with meat sauce. She didn't chew. It looked revolting
