....that a new cat has not entered the house

Known as The Three Meowsketeers:

2010 - Mollipop came home in March

2011 - Tabby came home in June (And WW III erupted when I told Rick that I had looked for a good home for Tabby and figured our home was the best home. Dear Richard was not amused. And now? They share their weekend breakfast at the kitchen table....when Tabby is not wrecking havoc in the house)

2012 - Muffin came home in September when Mom was admitted to the nursing home

2013 - I came really close when I was taking care of the little kitten at work back during the summer. And when my co-worker needed to rehome Jax (his black kitty), I really thought about it. But so far, we've gotten through 2013 without a new furkid.

They took the words right out of my mouth!

Santapaws still has time to visit too!  And I notice as soon as I open my mouth about something with my kids; they show me wrong.  ""Oh yeah; he sleeps GREAT at night!"  Kid wakes up 4 times.  She eats EVERYTHING!  Kid acts picky.

No, no, no, no.....Tabby does not need a partner in crime! And you know, I never thought about having a few weeks left in the year.

*putting hands over my ears* lalalalalalalaallalalalalalalaal I don't hear you!!! I don't!

Pam, you are the Angelina Jolie of cats and that is not a bad thing.  Of course Rick is not Brad Pitt and most likely won't allow another adopted furkid

Want Sam ?

My family would probably disown me if I got rid of Sam
He is a sweet little guy (well not so little anymore)

He's not so bad.  We lost 2 cats in 2012, one of them died 2 weeks before Christmas last year
Having a little orange bundle of energy around the house is kind of fun sometimes

Oh dear, wouldn't Mason and Tabby wreck the house together! What one doesn't think of the other one would!

Sam sounds like a real sweetie. We lost Whisper back in April....we were talking about her the other night when I put the stockings on the railing.

And speaking of stockings and the railing.....we put such a nice garland on the railing on Tuesday night. Green with pretty poinsettias and red berries (it's fake) and it lookED so nice. Came home from work last night and the garland is in two pieces, each piece hanging down at the ends of the railing. And some of the poinsettia flowers were strewn about the steps.

I give up.

Your going to end up with a pregnant mom or a hand feeding litter for saying that you know...:p

We have not had any new cats since 2011 I think.  I euthanized him(Ryan) in June, hit by car:(.  Did get a puppy in 2012.  Nutty little thing.  Puppy loved Ryan.  House has been very different since.

Except for the cat who came with my new house, I have gotten through 2013 without any new cats. . .well, a new feral showed up, idk if that counts. I told myself I could keep one a year. . .that would max out around 18-20, right? :lol3: But some years that didn't work out so great :D.

Yep Tabby definitely needs a partner in crime.

You know you have alot of cats when this theory sounds doable and really not to bad:)  And no ferals do no count!(or the things I say to myself to make it all feel better.

I just did a TINY order at grocery and cashier said you must have alot.  Like enough litter/food for a few days.
