The red on the siblings does not tell you anything about the dad unless they are girls. The red gene is carried only on the X chromosome, so you can get red boys if the mother has red in her. To get a red girl you need both a red father and a mother with red in her.
The lady who i got Tippi off as kept the red Kitten on the left with the white paws and white bib she is female .

I just pieced this all together! Is her other siblings boys?

If so then she has more calico markings since she is a girl.

Boy calicos are rare and 1 out of 100 of them can't produce babies.

So the males don't have calico in them since well they can't.

Sounds like you're getting the idea!
Tippy, the one Torbie & White cat is a girl.       (  you can call her "calico"  but she's both tabby and tortie,  so that's called "torbie"  and when it's also white,  it's torbie & white.  But some people would call her calico anyway. )    Tippy's mom is also a cat with both red & black,  so she can give either color to each kitten.  She gave the black to Tippy,  and Tippy got the red from her dad.

One of the red tabby & white kittens is also a girl.  That girl got a red gene from both mom and dad.   The gene that decides if their color will be the red kind or the black kind  is on the X chromosome.  Girls get an X from both their mom and dad.   So for a girl to be red with no black,  or black with no red,  she has to get the same kind of gene from both parents.

The red tabby & white boy kittens would have got their red from their mom.   Normal boy cats get that gene ONLY from their mom   (since it's on the X Chromosome,  and boys get just one X  -- from their mom.    Boys get a Y chromosome from their dad.  but the Y does not have the color gene on it. )

I'm sure you meant to type that most boy calicos can't produce kittens.   Some can,  some can't.  It depends on the reason they are a calico. Something has to be abnormal for a boy to be a calico,  and one of the ways they can be one  also causes them to be unable to be dads.

What a beautiful little girl she is, & her brothers are cute too!!  From that info, that means Angel's mom must have been one too??  Wish I knew. He came  when he was already 5 yrs. old.

Angel's mom was either a red tabby or a tortie / torbie ,  or one of those with white.  In other word,  for him to be red, his mom had to have had some red on her.   The handsome boy got his red from Mama.   & one of his parents had to have white.

Cool, thanks for the info!  My old neighbor found him (w/ one more I think) in a box when he was little. (already neutered). Not sure how old he was. I don't have a lot of back info on him. He was indoor outdoor over there for the first 5 yrs. of his life (depending on how old he was when she found him). Long story summed up, I had never seen him around here before when he started hanging out on my porch. I think it was around the same time her daughter had a baby, so was probably getting to noisy & chaotic over there for him. I wasn't sure where he came from, so I waited a yr. to make sure no one "claimed" him, or said anything to me, knowing he had been over here w/ me, until I finally took him to the vet to "make it official."
I even made sure I didn't feed him during that time, I knew he was getting fed elsewhere, & he still chose to come hang out w/ me! I was initially allergic, so when I finally decided to let him in, I brushed him really good. He was already clean, & had been getting the monthly spot treatments (I now know). He would stay until around 10:00, then sit at the door to go out, so I assumed he was going back home for the night. One night he stayed over, & that was it. He had chosen me. He was still indoor outdoor for the first couple of yrs. because I didn't know any better, & that is what he was used to (& stayed between the 2 houses). August was a yr. that he has been indoor only, so almost a yr. & a 1/2 now!  (After getting a  U.T.I. a yr. ago August, followed by 2 bouts of cystitis, I decided to keep him in after

trying to "transition" him by taking him out on a leach. That was more stressful, he was never ready to come in, & my usual sweet boy would hiss at me. & even slapped me once (on the face!) when I would have to pick him up to bring him in).  I truly believe he was meant to be w/ me. He wouldn't have had the care, if he had stayed over there. Because of him mostly being outdoors, they wouldn't have noticed he had cystitis, or a UTI, & he might not be here today.
They have sense moved, but her sister lives downstairs, so I see her once in a long while, & she just says she is so good he found a good home. She knows how much I take care of him & how very much I love him.

He is my little blessing, (aka.. where his name came from. as well as thinking he was a she the first yr.
)

Oh, & once in a great while, when I really look, I have seen a single black hair here or there before.

In the United States there are two main cat organizations, and both of them call the "tortoishell" cat different names. But no, stripes are very common, sometimes more pronounced than other times. In one organization the tortie may be called a patched tabby, another calls them a black tortie or torbie, depending whether they have stripping or just the varied colored patches. No matter -- unless being shown the color name doesn't really matter and , by the way, the tortoishell is my favorite color cat ! ! ! Enjoy your baby.

Angel definitely looks spoiled rotten,  and like he knows he deserves to be!   he  is so handsome and looks like such a sweetie.

It looks like he's  Cream Mackerel Tabby and White     ( cream = the dilute of red.   Basically pale ginger  ) .

Thank you for the information .

I'm not going to let Tippi have kittens I was just curious if she might produce more like herself , but I can see from all your information that's impossible and that she is one of a kind .

Yep Tippi is definitely unique!      and she has such a combination of genes that went into this,  PLUS the random parts about where the colors end up ,  it would probably be impossible to replicate.

Here is an interesting article  How Tortoiseshell Cats Show the Limits of Cloning
That's a very interesting article maewkaew  so they can clone Dolly the Sheep but Tippi and her kind are beyond the realms of science , that makes me think that there is something quite mystical about Tortoiseshell cats

Thanks,
Sophia's birthdate is listed as 6 October.
It will be interesting to see Tippi's pictures as she gets older.
We have only had Sophia since Sunday and I swear she has grown a bunch.
