Chocolate covered pecans at that, one of my favorites.

That happened once here with sweet potatoes and the law let folks pick them up for personal use
That happened around here, too, a long time ago. It was a paint truck and my dad got quite a few gallons of paint from the accident. People were allowed to take it. That was way before the EPA and all the regulations in effect now.
