@Susank521, I'm thinking Crooner wasn't looking to come down, he was eyeing up the posts and thinking how kind you were in making such a cool new cat tree with mega scratching post.  Other cats had probably been telling him about it so he had to go take a look for himself.

Have to admit, this one made me laugh
The picture is so crisp, it looks like a kitty is floating up there!

Maia is so out of this contest! She is the type of kitty that would get herself stuck up in a tree after a frisky, run about, then have the local fire department trying to rescue her but this would freak her out more, because she's mental and only lets me touch her(she is an indoor only kitty)! Don't get me wrong, I love my little mental, vertically challenged furball!  We will sit back and enjoy the pics

When I was moving I had to take down the curtains and used a tall step ladder (ceilings were 14 feet high and the windows were almost that tall!) Ralphie, a tuxedo cat approximately 18 years old at the time, climbed right up to the top. Then he surveyed the boxes already piled up around the room and started down the other side of the ladder. This is when he ran into trouble. It suddenly seemed to be beyond him how to get down head first. He kept retreating from the first step down back to the top, eventually pitifully crying. All day he sat up there, nothing could bring him down. By evening his crying and obviously being in distress finally made me go up the ladder to get him down. He didn't like that either. As I reached for him he suddenly BACKED DOWN the steps, crying with every step. Once he made it all the way down and had taken care of his toilette he came to curl up in my lap, purring louder than ever. 4 years later he went to the Rainbow Bridge. I used to have pictures of him on that tall ladder but they are gone after Outlook deleted a lot of my old e-mails and apparently messed up my computer.
