So my cat loves Deli/Sandwich Turkey/Chicken, but I've read it is not good for cats. What alternatives should i try? I've tried
  • PureBites
  • Blue Buffalo Wildness
  • Temptations
  • Wild Cravings
  • Friskies
  • Purina Whisker Lickin's
  • Pounce
  • Vitakitty- She loves these but due do the Jerky recalls I don't feed them anymore.o cor Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they get some of there ingredients from China?
If you have any suggestions for treats, or recipes please suggest
  • They must be made in the U.S & all ingredients  should be from the U.S
  • No corn,wheat, soy,byproducts,artificial flavors,colors, or preservatives
  • Preferably grain free
If you wondering why I'm asking about treats, we're actually training, nothing much just like sit, & coming when her name is called.

Those aren't good because of the high sodium levels. Otherwise, for training, any treats that your cat likes will work. As long as the treats do not constitute a substantial portion of their diet, it's fine (think having the occasional McDonald's).

If you're open to raw food, small chunks of gizzards or chicken/turkey breasts work too. I usually cook more chicken than I need, and then take a chunk and cut it up into small cubes for treats. My cat eats anything, so I can toss him some cooked chicken breasts during training.

Have you tried Merrick dog treats? I know they're USA. They have freeze dried lamb lung that my cats love. Also they love the Wellness line of dog treats. I'm not sure if they're USA.
