I would just cut her dreads off, the hair will grow back. You know how dreads are... yup.

So glad you're keeping Heeshi!!! Which is my new favorite cat name - we named one "Izze" since we didn't know "Iz-he-a-boy-or-a-girl" till I could get a good look - but Heeshi is even better!! I may have to "borrow" that next time

Heeshi IS gorgeous and couldn't look happier - and glad you found this forum. This place has alot of great people who are always happy (at all hours of the day and night) to answer any questions - so never be afraid to ask! 

Keep us posted on how Heeshi does at the vet (that's definitely the next step).

Heeshee is lovely and certainly does like to be stroked. See how heshee pushes herhis head against the hand. Go to the vet. Deflead - she will have fleas. Maybe the vet will help with the knots in the fur. My little one loves little soft balls that animal shops have. Catnip is s kind of drug to kitties. Most of them love it so get a toy with catnip in it - but don't touch the toy too soon after heeshee had stopped playing with it. It will be wet and slimy from licking it.
When I got my gentle I called her that thinking she was a male and so I'd call her gentleman. However she was a she and a better name for my baby who was with me for 15 years should have been called 'Bitch'. She was sooo spiteful but I loved her.

Heeshi is gorgeous! You're so lucky to have been chosen as the one who takes care of her. A few of my cats have long fur and they often get dreadlocks between their front and back legs. They won't let me comb them, but you might have more luck with Heeshi. She looks very affectionate. I guess she had a home before she came to you.

My cats were all feral kittens that had never even seen a human being until they were about four months old. They're all very friendly now. They sometimes let me trim the dreadlocks with a pair of scissors but you have to be very careful not to nick their skin. Other than that, they do a pretty good job of pulling them out by themselves.

By the way, which part of Iran are you from? I've done lots of travelling in Asia and South America, but I've never been to the Middle East. It's my dream to go to Persepolis one day.

Are you going to get her spayed? That's we're they take out the uterus and overies to prevent her to get pregnant and to prevent unwanted kittens

That's something that must be done if she hasn't already been spayed. That's the operation mewlittle was referring to.

I got her her a couple canned foods, and I change the water 2-3times a day, and yes she's indoors so I got her a litter box n_n....Im glad too cuz its my duty to help when its needed..makes me happy ;D

thanks...but Heeshi doesn't like staying here so she went out...but she's in our area so whenever i get her food whistle twice and two kisses she comes running n_n...I thought closing the door will make her depressed and it'll feel like a jail no1 would like that so I just let her do her thing...its not wrong is it :'(

Yea she loves it when I play with her head .....she's out of the house now can't take her to the vet..comes for food and playing only  n_n

and the toy that had the catnip in it broke the first tym i threw it at her, now that you say i understand why she was acting high ^_^.....awww so cute

Thanks n_n....to tell you the truth im scared of cutting anything off of her, even when I play her head scratch her  when she doesn't want it she tries to bite ...yeah she had a home for sure...but something else before she went back outside instead of doing her thing in the two litter boxes I had put for her she did it in her food dish and on the stairway 0_0 dunno why..but I got angry with her :'(

I'm from State of Fars where persepolis is n_n....hope u visit there someday

Well, yeah, It is really. A female cat can have 12 kittens in a year. Each kitten will be old enough to get pregnant at 6 months of age so if you don't get them spayed pretty soon you'll be overrun with cats.

Plus females in heat will make loads of noise to attract tom cats and then spray your house with urine to advertise the fact that a horny female lives here. Then the tom cats will start spraying to let her know they're interested....and having huge noisy fights with each other and keeping you awake all night.

Unspayed females are at a lot of risk of catching diseases from the tom cats as well as being injured by them. The tom cats can be quite aggressive with the females as well as each other. Trust me, a cat orgy is NOT a pretty sight, sound or smell.

Getting them spayed is no big deal. They recover really quickly and are much sweeter afterwards.

lol thats scary but now heeshi went and will come once in a while I guess if she stays then I'll do it.....the noisy fights u said I saw twice, in iran...there was a she cat and she used to come in my garden once in a while so I started feeding her and she stayed there but she never came more than two metres near me...and one night it started they made human like growls, I thought they were jinns or something 0_0..but a friend of mine said its they'r way of sex and it went on for 3-4nights 0_o....then I travelled and when I came back she had 6-7kittens.....so started feeding them too but one day she got angry with me and threatened with noises i guess she wanted them to learn how to get food for themselves but they were my kittens too so I threatened her with noises too lol n_n so she let me feed them....one day they all went except for one which was a he...so the second time i heard the noises was from the kid who had brought a white she cat. lol

You are very lucky, she is a sweet sweet cat and you can tell she loves you very much.
