A friend of mine went through something similar. The major stress here should be....."when the doctor says bed rest the doctor MEANS bed rest". My friend hated it but she stayed off her feet and her son was born perfectly normal and very healthy 2 weeks before his due date.

I'm adding my prayers and sending happy thoughts and warm wishes.

The best thing for her is the bedrest and staying *well hydrated*. The 1 cm is no big deal, but the effacement means those contractions were having some effect, so here's to the medicine, bedrest, *liquids* (strong hint, drink, drink, drink that water!) and all the prayers giving her another 3-4 weeks.

I sure don't know much about our webmaster. I didn't know that Anne was expecting a baby soon. All positive thoughts and prayers her way though.

Any news on Anne & the baby?

Nothing yet. I hope she is staying in bed.

Hopefully no news is good news... just that she is in bed resting. Not like the news of her being rushed in to have the baby early. *keeps hoping*

Anne just called and she is doing fine. She is in bed and will remain there. The pills make her groggy so she is doing a lot of sleeping. Hubby is home helping with the house and with Ron and she just wanted me to thank everyone for her. The contractions finally stopped late yesterday.

Oh praise God .... I am so happy Anne is doing better .
