Thursdays Question of the Day 9.19.13

Morning everyone! Such a beautiful day outside.. and I gotta work!

This weekend, I am looking forward to seeing a broadway show with my mom in NYC.. we're going to see Big Fish (we have seen almost all, we're running out of shows to see!)

My question is.. have you ever seen a broadway show (in NY, Las Vegas.. anywhere else).. and if so.. what was the last one you've seen?

WE saw the traveling version of Green Day's American Idiot.

We got to see Wicked when we were in NYC. Loved it!

I've never seen a Broadway show, but I started seeing plays again since some of my friends are in them.

I've only seen local production type shows.  I love them!  So someday... 

I used to listen to the Broadway channel on sirius when DH had it! 

Gosh, the last Broadway Show I saw was awhile ago - it was Anne of Green Gables, and it was a local production. It was very good!

I'm going to take you WAY back because the last time I was there to see shows was in high school, and that was 25 years ago!

I was in the advanced dance class & we went our senior year.  We saw A Chorus Line, & my favorite, CATS! 

We also got to take a dance class there & it was great! 

I saw Bernadette Peters in Into the Woods on Broadway around the late-eighties. I saw another Broadway show on a previous trip the year before but can't recall the name - I remember I didn't like the first one as much.

I went to NYC two years in a row each time for the International Hair Show which was a LOT of fun and probably why I don't remember the first Broadway show, lol.

When we lived in NY we loved Broadway shows. Can't remember the last one we saw there. We've seen Phantom of the Opera in Ft. Lauderdale, Cats in Lauderdale, Here in Naples we try to see dinner theatre shows. Seeing Cats in Nov. Saw several others --- West Side Story, Buddy Holly tribute, Grease, and several others I can't remember. But there is nothing to compare with an actual Broadway Show -- one of the things I miss about NY>

Many many years ago we say Chorus Line on Broadway. I loved it.  But that was it.
